This unique, floating hotel is located on the River Weaver at Northwich town centre and is 5 miles from the M6, with good links to Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.
The UK's only purpose-built floating hotel is close to the shops and bars of the town centre, and features a restaurant and late night bar overlooking the river.
Many of the area’s attractions such as the Blue Planet Aquarium, Chester Zoo, Haydock Races and Oulton Park can be reached by car from the hotel.
A great location for business or leisure travellers in the North-west, the hotel has conference and function facilities for up to 100 guests.

This rate includes dinner, bed and full English breakfast. There is a dinner allocation of GBP 17.95 per person, per night. Minimum stay of 2 nights. Cancellations or amendments to this booking can only be accepted up to 72 hours before the day of arrival. The first 2 nights’ accommodation will be charged for cancellations/amendments after this time.
The Waterside Restaurant and Swingbridge Bar offers a menu with simple snacks such as baguettes and burgers, or the choice of a one, 2 or 3-course meal from a wide selection of dishes. All grills are cooked on a chargrill for extra flavour.
Please note: the restaurant is closed Sunday nights.
By Car
From the M6:
- Exit the M6 at junction 19 and follow the A556.
- Take the first signpost on the right, marked Northwich (and Lostock Gralam).
- Follow the signs for Northwich and the town centre.
- In the town centre, pass the police station and law courts.
- Take the next left turn and follow the brown/white tourism signs marked 'Quality Hotel'.
From the M56:
- Exit at junction 10 and follow the A49, signposted to Whitchurch.
- At the junction with the A533, turn left, following signs for Barnton/Northwich.
- Follow the A533 into Northwich. Turn right at the court building and right again at the next set of traffic lights.
- The hotel is 140 metres away on the left.
By Train:
Northwich Station (Chester to Manchester line) is approximately 1.6 km (1 mile) from the hotel. Alternatively, Hartford Station (West coast / Crewe to Liverpool line) is approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) from the hotel.
